PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary apparatus capable of further stabilizing the behavior of a lubricant.SOLUTION: A rotary apparatus 100 has a hub 28 in which four or more magnetic recording disks 8 are to be installed, a shaft 26, and a sleeve 106. In the sleeve 106, a communication passage 168 communicating between a region on the outer peripheral side of a second thrust dynamic pressure generation part 166 and a region on the outer peripheral side of a first thrust dynamic pressure generation part 164 is formed, and the communication passage 168 extends so as to separate from a rotational shaft R as approaching the first thrust dynamic pressure generation part 164. In the communication passage 168, when a length in an axial direction of an existence region of the magnetic recording disks 8 is defined as L (mm), and an angle formed by the rotational shaft R and a direction where the communication passage 168 extends is defined as θ (deg), L tanθ falls within a range of 0.1-0.4 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
