FORM (ss 21, 31, 34 and 142) The "TV AND appliance lock called PLUGSTOP" is a product used to sure from use any appliance or device whose power is conducted along an electrical power cord terminating in a plug which must be connected to an electric power outlet. It can be used to prevent the unauthorized use of televisions, computers, power tools, etc. It is especially useful to maintain security in the case of computers; to maintain safety in the case of power tools in the home; to maintain some regulation over the viewing of television. Although some electronics such as computers and televisions can have access codes programmed directly into them, this product will make security available to every model, with or without security access codes being present. The low price of the TV and appliance lock (PLUGSTOP) will make it possible for the average household to purchase several of these devices to secure many different appliances as needed Whether used with a key locking device or combination lock, all "PLUGSTOP" appliance locking devices in one household could be unlocked with an identical key or combination for greater ease of use. As an added feature, the appliance locking device is able to be securely attached onto the electrical appliance cord when the appliance is in use (and the "PLUGSTOP" is not required) thus preventing loss of the device.
