Device for plotting and drawing in Cartesian coordinates characterised in that it consists of a casing containing a mechanism which moves either along the X axis or along the Y axis. It is operated by pressing on the button (B) with two fingers of one hand. - If the pressure exerted does not cause the strip (8) to bend, the apparatus only moves along the X axis. - If the pressure exerted does cause the strip (8) to bend (the button is pushed further in), the apparatus only moves along the Y axis. <IMAGE>
