A device for preparing fodder from root crops equipped with a charging hopper with an open drum shaker and a feed mill with beating roll propelled with its own electric motor or by a tractor through a belt pulley, characterized in that between the shaker (4) and the feed mill (12) a cylindrical tank (6) is mounted to a frame (1) with a platform auger (7) vertically fixed to it and rotationally set in a cylindrical casing (8) fixed to carrying beams (9), located in the upper part of the tank (6), whereas the lower end of the platform auger (7) is equipped with blades (10), while in the upper part of its casing (8) there is an outlet (11) for cleaned agricultural products, directed towards the feed mill (12), under which a feed mixer (14) is mounted, which constitutes a tank (15) for dry components with mixing worm (16) placed underneath.<IMAGE>
