<p>PURPOSE:To provide a CD-I image scroll system realizing the scroll function with no limitation in the scroll range such as a CD graphic with a CD-I image display function. CONSTITUTION:The display completion position of the first image memory 1 and the display start position of the second image memory 2 are matched for the left scroll. 384 picture cells are continuously read out from the readout start positions of the first image memory 1 and the second image memory 2 respectively for the method to display image data. The image read out from the first image memory 1 is displayed in the segment indicated by the display start position of the first image memory 1 and the display completion position of the first image memory 1, and the image read out from the second image memory 2 is displayed in the segment indicated by the display start position of the second image memory 2 and the display completion position of the second image memory 2. These actions are repeated for display lines, and a circular lateral scroll is attained to the left by (x) picture cells.</p> |
