A method and apparatus are provided for enabling a person inside a vehicle such as a motor car to check the vehicle's external lights as to whether they are damaged, functional and on, notwithstanding that the lights are out of the person's direct view. The method uses a convex reflector (1) but the apparatus comprises at least two such reflectors, each preferably being a spherical mirror (2) supported on a stand (8) wherein the person can discern the image of such light, if necessary after re-reflection by a rear view mirror of the vehicle. |
