The programming procedure enables reception of set channels whose data are extractable from a videotext signal having displays of program data with the help of commands. The videotext signals are stored in a latch store in the television receiver. The stored signals are coded and wirelessly transmitted to the video recorder. The videotext signals are received in the recorder, decoded and latched-up into the timer of the video recorder. Transmission from receiver to recorder may be by infra-red, and all lines of a video-text frame may be stored in the receiver.
