The testing device uses an adapter (2) for each tested circuit (1) and an associated relay device allowing individual test points to be supplied with HV test pulses and measuring and operating voltages. Each adapter terminal is coupled to a number of contact points (41) within a contact plane (40), selectively contacted by a contact pin (42), under control of a coordinate positioning device, to supply a voltage potential from a HV source (16,17). The coordinate positioning device may be provided by a standard plotter (43). ADVANTAGE - Min. stray capacitance and stray inductance, without requiring complicated computer control.
