In the conventional radar device, a plurality of plots which are three-dimensional positions of an orbit object being observed are extracted, and the position and velocity vector of the orbit object are estimated by performing time series processing using a Kalman filter or the like. However, the prior art has drawbacks in that a plurality of plots must be estimated in order to estimate an orbit element of the orbit object, and time is required. In the present invention, a motion hypothesis for the orbit object is estimated by a hypothesis extraction unit (50) on the basis of consistency between a reception signal which is received by a signal reception means (10) and corresponds to a plurality of pulse hits used when detecting the position of the orbit object as a single plot, and a motion amount corresponding to a plurality of pulse hits calculated on the basis of a motion hypothesis for the orbit object generated by a motion hypothesis generating unit (301), and the orbit element of the orbit object is thereby estimated at substantially the same time that the single plot is detected. |
