The display apparatus also includes a main controller configured to control operation of the display, a power supplier configured to supply power to operate the display and the main controller, a power measurer configured to measure the power supplied by the power supplier, a storage configured to store information regarding a third power range which is between a first power range that the display apparatus consumes in a sleep state and a second power range that the display apparatus consumes in a normal state, and a power controller configured to cut off the power supplied by the power supplier in response to the measured power being within the third power range.

1. A display apparatus comprising:
a camera; a display; a main controller configured to control operation of the display; a power supplier configured to supply power to operate the display and the main controller; a power measurer configured to measure the power supplied by the power supplier; a storage configured to store information regarding a third power range which is between a first power range that the display apparatus consumes in a sleep state and a second power range that the display apparatus consumes in a normal state; and a power controller configured to cut off the power supplied by the power supplier in response to the measured power being within the third power range, wherein a power consumption of the display apparatus is within the third power range when the display is turned off, the main controller is turned on, and when the camera is activated.
