<p>The body (11) connects to a frame (12) supported by a base, and via components (26-29) for adjusting the body inclination in relation to the frame. The adjustment components comprise an arm (28, 29) fixed centrally on a second frame end piece (16) opposite to the first (15), and a strut (26) acting between the arm outer end area and the frame. To vary the inclination of the body, the strut has variable length, or is lockable relatively to the arm and/or frame at different positions along its length. The parts (36) of the second frame end piece between the body side pieces (13, 14) and the arm, form torsion springs to impart sprung characteristics to the chair.</p> |
