The adaptive method for scanning a logic input scans after converting an unstable logic input into a stable logic input. The method includes the steps of: sampling the logic input, shifting it in a register and checking the shifted bit state; if all bits are 0, processing as a generation of a trailing edge by understanding the input logic as a 'low' state if an input state just before is a 'high' logically, or understanding as the present logic state if not the 'high' logically; understanding the input logic if all bits are 1 ; understanding the input logic as the present logic state if bits have 0 and 1 mixed.
