A damper device (100) according to one embodiment comprises a pair of first plates (10), a second plate (20), an elastic member (70), a first friction material (81), and a second friction material (82). The elastic member (70) is configured so that the relative rotation between the pair of first plates (10) and the second plate (20) around an axis of rotation (Ax) causes the elastic member (70) to deform elastically in the circumferential direction of the axis of rotation (Ax). The first friction material (81) is configured so that a first frictional torque is generated when the second plate (20) rotates in a first direction with respect to the first plates (10) from the initial state. The second friction material (82) is configured so that a second frictional torque larger than the first frictional torque is generated when the second plate (20) rotates in a second direction, which is opposite the first direction, with respect to the first plates (10) from the initial state.
