摘要 A capacitor (20) fabricated from nano-structure multilayer materials, such as by controlled, reactive sputtering. The multilayer capacitors may be fabricated in a notepad configuration composed of 200-300 alternating layers of tapered conductive material (28) and dielectric material (27) so as to have a thickness of 1 mm, a width of 200 mm, and a length of 300 mm, with terminals (21, 22) at each end of the alternating layers suitable for brazing. The notepad capacitors may be stacked in single or multiple rows forming series-parallel banks to increase voltage and energy density.
