This ozone generation device (10) includes: a dielectric portion (1) which has a discharge surface (11); and a discharge electrode (2) and a counter electrode (3) which extend side by side inside the dielectric portion (1) and which face the discharge surface (11). The discharge electrode (2) or the counter electrode (3) has, when seen from the discharge surface (11), a straight line portion (22, 32) which is an edge of the electrode extending in a length direction, and a tip portion (21, 31) which is the edge of the electrode extending bent from the straight line portion (22, 32). A component of the capacitance generated inside the dielectric portion (1) of the capacitance generated between the discharge electrode (2) and the counter electrode (3) is less in the vicinity of the tip portion (21, 31) than in the vicinity of the straight line portion (22, 32). |
