The device is used to support a workpiece feeding machine (100) on a worktable (120) and includes a hollow base (10) mounted on the worktable (120) and a hollow retaining seat (102) mounted on the workpiece feeding machine (100). Interconnected first and second shafts (31, 71) are mounted respectively on a first ball (30) disposed in a first positioning seat (20) on the hollow base (10) and a second ball (70) disposed in a second positioning seat (80) on the hollow retaining seat (102). The supporting apparatus facilitates adjustments in the position of the workpiece feeding machine (100) relative to the worktable (120) so as to correspond with the size and shape of the workpiece (120d) and the inclination of the workpiece surface to be machined.
