PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control bias and toner supply according to the most appropriate imaging condition and provide a stable image density.SOLUTION: A potential control device 401 is provided as one of image density control means. After inputting a detection value detected by a toner adhesion quantity detection sensor 310, temperature/humidity and toner density detected by a toner density sensor 312 and a temperature/humidity sensor being an environment sensor, and developing bias and surface potential after exposure of a photoreceptor detected by a potential sensor 70, the potential control device 401 outputs a control target value of toner density, charging bias, developing bias, and exposure light quantity of a charging device 60, a development apparatus 61, and an exposure device 21. According to the most appropriate imaging condition, each bias and toner supply are controlled, and imaging can be performed under a stable image density.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
