SUBSTANCE: magnetizing unit uses four optothyristors, demagnetizing unit uses two optothyristors; a shunting optothyristor is cut in between them; the electromagnet energy monitor is made in the form of a series-connected diode, voltage divider and optothyristor; used as control unit is a pulse-phase control system built around a four-channel circuit, having four inputs and four control outputs, of which the first one is connected to the control input of the first and third optothyristors of the magnetizing unit, the second output of the pulse-phase control system is connected to the second and fourth control inputs of the optothyristors of the magnetizing unit, the third output of the pulse-phase control system is connected to the control input of the shunting optothyristor, the fourth output of the pulse-phase control system is connected to the control inputs of both optothyristors of the demagnetizing unit; the pulse-phase control system is built around AND, OR gates. The offered design for control of load-lifting electromagnet due to control of magnetizing current provides for separation of loads, which expands the unit functional capabilities. Absence of mechanical switching elements, electronic circuit of the pulse-phase control system enhance the reliability and safety of operation, reduce the consumption of electric power, reduce the mass and dimensions of the unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and expanded functional capabilities of the unit by separation of loads due to smooth control of magnetizing current.
