FIELD: liquid sterilization constructions, may be used in different branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical chamber positioned in horizontal plane and provided with liquid medium supply and discharge branch pipes, liquid level detector, pulsed optical radiation source (emitter) and pump with drive. Chamber diameter is selected in accordance with ratio of D1=D2+2l, where D1 is chamber diameter, D2 is emitter outer diameter, l is design or empirical value of radiation length providing efficient sterilization. Pulsed optic radiation source has emitter positioned axially in chamber, condenser-type energy accumulator and control board. Section areas of supplying pipelines and branch pipes do not exceed section area of gap between chamber and emitter. Power source is made multisectional, with number of sections determined according to ratio of h=N0/N1, where N0 is number of pulses per min providing required capacity and adequate sterilization quality, N1 is maximum allowable number of pulses per min for selected type of condensers. Apparatus is provided with device for switching sections of energy accumulator for emitter. Chamber and branch pipes are positioned in common plane. Liquid level detector is positioned in the middle part of chamber adjacent to upper point of its normal section. Liquid medium cutoff unit is positioned at inlet portion of outlet branch pipe. EFFECT: increased efficiency in sterilizing liquid medium and simplified construction. |
