The invention relates to a device enabling a multi-socket terminal strip to be fastened to and unfastened from various supports, as well as the possibility of receiving a cover whilst allowing the complementary passage of wires or cables. It consists of a rail 1 fastened to a support on which two slides 2, holding a multi-socket terminal strip 3, slide and may be locked; these said slides may receive a cover. The device according to the invention is particularly intended, "without the cover" for workshops or stands (stalls) where the multi-socket terminal strip has to remain either at a fixed position or to be able to be moved quickly. The device "with the cover" is particularly intended for kitchens in order to be able to have a series of sockets on the worktop between the bottom and top furniture items and allowing passage for wires or cables between them. <IMAGE>
