An amplifier sequence at least 90 % homologous with SEQ ID No. 1: TCTATAAATA X1X2X3GC Y1Y2Y3GG TATTTGGGGT TGGCAGCTGT T, wherein X1, X2 and X3, which are the same or different, may be independently C or G, C or G and C or A respectively; and Y1, Y2 and Y3, which are the same or different, may be independently T or C, C or G and T or C respectively, is disclosed. Said sequence may be included in an expression vector or sequence further containing a sequence coding for a protein and a promoter. Such sequences enable very strong amplification of the transcription of the gene coding for the protein.
