The invention relates to a sensor comprising electronics which measures the amount of passing light and can be adjusted so that reduction of the passing light results in an (acoustic) signal being produced and/or the incorrect move being counted. With the aid of a mount, the sensor is placed in a brace (back, knee, neck et al). The wearer of the brace within which the sensor is located with the aid of the mount receives a warning signal if an undesirable posture is adopted or movement is made, with the additional option of the faulty postures adopted and movements made being counted by means of a counter. It is also possible to switch off the acoustic signal and to merely count the faulty postures and movements by means of the counter.
