A windshield repair apparatus (10) and method are provided wherein a quick connect/disconnect bayonet (28, 30) mounting arrangement mounts an injector (12) to a support apparatus (14) which holds the injector relative to a windshield (160) for repair. A ramp surface may be provided with respect to the bayonet mounting arrangement for selective adjustment of the position of the injector relative to the support apparatus. A rubber stopper (70) with two passages is provided with the injector (12), one passage central (76) to the stopper (70) for receipt of a mechanical probe, and one passage offset from the central passage for receipt of pressures greater than or les than atmospheric pressure during use.
