<p>The cards (2) are divided by lines into horizontal and vertical rows and columns which can be marked or cut away to distinguish one type of card from another. The cards can also be of different heights and have easily-identifiable upper edges, e.g. of different colours. One edge of each card also has an upward-projecting column which can carry an inscription for further identification of the information carried by the card. In variants of the design the cards can be connected by rings, clamps or spirals.</p> |
