The combination unit in which the waste gases (2) from a turbine belonging to the gas turbine group are led initially through a superheating stretch (3,4) integrated within the waste heat steam generator (1). The steam heated at this point (12a,13) heats up compressed air (6) from the gas turbine group in an air preheater (7,8). The compressed heated air (9) is finally led into a combustion chamber belonging to the gas turbine group.
