PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structural body for flat cable in which the short-circuit or disconnection of the conductor of a flat cable by the force added when it is drawn from and inserted to a continuity detector in a continuity inspection in the middle of manufacture, and a method of manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The conductor 31 of a flat cable 3, the printed conductor 41 of a printed board 4, and the terminal 51 of an electric connector 5 are conductively connected, and in the stage where the cable 3 and the board 4 are nipped by a first pressing plate 81 and a second pressing plate 82 to fix the mutual position of the cable 3 and the board 4, the short-circuit or disconnection of the conductor 41 in the drawing from and insertion to a continuity detector in continuity inspection can be prevented. A combination formed by substantially filling a thermoplastic resin through a through-hole 7 followed by solidifying is provided in the space formed by the pressing plates 81, 82, the cable 3 and the board 4, whereby a connecting structural body 1 for flat cable of this invention is provided.
