PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a flap of an air conditioner in such a way that it can be moved at such a driving speed as one adapted for an object of motion of the flap. SOLUTION: A driving speed of each of an upper flap and a lower flap installed in an indoor device of an air conditioner is controlled in three steps in response to an operating state of the air conditioner. Each of the driving speeds of the flap is set to be a high speed, a middle speed and a low speed, respectively, in the case that the starting of operation and stopping of operation are instructed, in the case that an operation mode is selected and in the case that a swing made is selected. In particular, the driving speed of it in the case that the swing made for continuously reciprocating the upper flap and the lower flap is controlled to be a low speed, thereby a smooth changing of air direction in response to the motion of each of the upper flap and the lower flap can be performed. |
