Telephone switch especially for online service

The telephone switch includes a switching element (7) which is connected to a switching centre. The output of the switching element is controllably connected to at least one telephone (6) and to a modem (3) of a data terminal (4). A circuit (8) with signalling detectors and switching control transmits control signals to the telephone and to the data terminal via control lines which are connected to the switch. The control signal circuit is connected to a call signalling apparatus (9) which is provided at the telephone and the data terminal.
