The barrier has a tubular central body with two symmetrical uprights (1) joined by a central panel (3) and an upper rail (2). The barrier is supported by one or two tubular, bent feet (4). The barrier can be extended using extensions (5). The barriers are made of coloured thermoplastics and/or thermosetting materials which are extruded, injected poured or moulded. The components have male and female ends for assembly. Two male and female sections (6,7) can be clipped onto the uprights or the extensions allowing barriers to be joined together. The central panel can be used to give directions or other forms of information. Some parts of the barrier are reflective for use at night.
