The assembly unit, of two tubes of similar or different diameters in line or angular, has a mechanism consisting of two upper jaws (S) and two lower jaws (I) fixed on their arms (R) which pivot about the axis (X) and can be pushed apart by the aid of a screw (V). The distance between the lower jaws (I) in a parallel position is equal to the internal diameter of the tube (B) and the corresponding distance between the upper jaws (S) is equal to the internal diameter (d) of the upper tube less twice the value (SR) of the clamping distance.
