PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably offer a privilege service of a house card even when a trouble, such as a disabled credit inquiry, occurs.SOLUTION: In a settlement terminal, payment amount reception means receives an input of a payment amount. Input reception receives card type information identifying the type of a house card and member information identifying the member of the house card. Settlement means performs settlement processing in a payment way other than use of the house card, applying a privilege to be offered to house card members to the payment amount, when the settlement terminal cannot receive any response to credit inquiry from a settlement server. Transaction information output means outputs information indicating the contents of the privilege applied by the settlement means when the terminal could not receive any response to the credit inquiry and the member information of the application object when the terminal becomes communicable with the settlement server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
