METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAND SUGAR FROM RAW SUGAR

FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves additional crystallizing of third massecuite by cooling in the process of gravitational motion caused by hydrostatic pressure created in two cylindrical vertical crystallizers which are communicated one with another; providing flowing of third massecuite into crystallizer via pipeline system, gravitational flowing of massecuite from one crystallizer into another and supplying massecuite to centrifuge. Pipeline for supplying massecuite into first crystallizer downstream of process flow and pipeline for supplying massecuite to centrifuge are positioned at an angle of 11 deg to horizontal plane. Pipeline for communicating one crystallizer with another is mounted in horizontal plane. Diameter of any pipeline of the system is at least 0.2 the diameter of crystallizer.
