FIELD: aircraft and rocket hydraulic systems; hydraulic systems of road-building machines; mining engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is designed for hydraulic systems including power supply source in form of variable- capacity pump, consumers and mains connecting them. Mass of hydraulic system is reduced due to reduction of diameters of pipe lines. Static discharge characteristic of variable-capacity pump satisfies the following relationship: <EMI ID=0.536 HE=9 WI=33 TI=CHI>, where <EMI ID=0.537 HE=9 WI=15 TI=CHI> is pressure at pump outlet in modes at Q = Q<SB>max</SB>, Pp<SB>0</SB> is pressure at pump outlet in modes at Q = 0,, Q<SB>max</SB> - is maximum output of pump, Q is pump output, ΔP is total magnitude of losses of pressure in man from pump as far as consumers.
