ONE-PACKAGE CROSSLINKABLE SYNTHETIC RESIN EMULSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable one-package crosslinkable synthetic resin emulsion which does not gel in a state of an emulsion. SOLUTION: This emulsion is obtained by mixing a synthetic resin emulsion containing acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol (e.g. vinyl acetate resin emulsion) with calcium carbonate (e.g. calcium carbonate having a particle diameter of 0.05-10μm) and a water-soluble hydrazine derivative (e.g. carbonic acid dihydrazide). The water resistance can be improved as a result of crosslinkages between the acetoacetyl group of the acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol with the hydrazine group of the hydrazine derivative.
