Foundation element with structural connection tube

The tube has a connecting end and a foundation end, the connecting end being expanded or flared and with funnel-shaped edge. The foundation end is also flared and the tube is filled with a settable grout mass at this foundation end. The foundation end is arranged on a metal or Al alloy anchor plate whose lengthways reinforcement is fixed in the grout mass. Otherwise the foundation end is cast into the anchor plate by means of teeth of which some are bent outward to form gaps, notably every second tooth. Reinforcement running at right angles to the tube length reaches into the tooth gaps and this lengthways reinforcement crosses over part of the crossways reinforcement. The inside diameter of the connection end of the tube slightly exceeds the outside diameter of the connection to give a suction-tight fit. The connection end is closed off by cover to limit penetration depth and the cover is filled with settable adhesive or connecting matrix reaching into the connection.
