PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for a sliding guide surface, which is excellent in both lubricating characteristics on a sliding guide surface and separability from a water-soluble cutting fluid and does not exert any adverse effect on various performances of a water-soluble cutting fluid. SOLUTION: The composition is made by using as the base oil at least one oil selected from mineral oils, oils or fats, and synthetic oils and contains a carboxylic acid and/or its ester, a phosphoric ester represented by the formula [O=P-(OR<1> )3 ] (R<1> is a 1-24C hydrocarbon group), and optionally an organic acid salt of at least one metal selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, zinc and lead. |
