An oxidation dyeing agent comprising a component (A) containing a conventional oxidation dye precursor (I) also contains another component (B) containing an oxygen-enriched zeolite (II) in an anhydrous medium. An Independent claim relates to dyeing keratin fibers by oxidative development of a dye precursor using oxygen released from an oxygen-enriched zeolite immediately prior to the dyeing process.
