A new method for the elimination of salts from aqueous sufonamide solutions

摘要

The use of cationic and anionic ion exchange membranes in electrodialysis for the de-salination of sulfonamide solutions of concentrations from 0.1 M to the solubility limit of the sulfonamide. The pH of the solution is preferably maintained at 3 - 5, effected by the addition of HCl to the solution. The concentration of the sufonamide is preferably 0.5 - 2 M.
