The carpark has a transport device (10) for feeding the vehicles to and from the stacked parking locations (14), with entry and exit terminals (6,7) at the carpark ground level. The transport device has a number of transport elements for respective vehicles, each operated independently via a respective drive. The parking locations may be located in a ring on each floor, with the transport device located at the centre.
