PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key top member manufacturing method, by which a key top member having a high-quality display part excellent in visibility can be manufactured at low cost using a simple facility, and a cover member manufacturing method using the key top member manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A plurality of display parts 25b matching the key configuration of a pushbutton switch are formed in advance on a large resin sheet 25 by printing, etc. A thermosetting liquid curing material is injected into a plurality of molding recesses 31a in a molding die 31, and the large resin sheet 25 is put over the liquid curing material in the molding recesses 31a in such a way that the display parts 25b are buried in the liquid curing material, so that the liquid curing material is integrally fixed with the large sheet 25 and hardened. Thereafter, the large resin sheet 25 is punched into a form matching the shape of the opening of each molding recess 31a to take out a key top member 20 from each molding recess 31a. A substrate 10 in which a plurality of movable parts 12 continue to a support part 11 is molded from a silicone rubber composition, and the key top member 20 is fixed on the movable parts 12 of the substrate 10 with an adhesive. |
