摘要 FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: cylindrical evaporation chamber with tangential channel is made of heat- insulating material. Transverse partition of evaporation chamber is made of heat-conducting material. Heated coolant goes from channel to evaporation chamber wherein it is swirled. Evaporated medium is injected by means of atomizer to near-axis space of evaporation chamber. Fuel droplets leaving the injector acquire rotary motion and are carried away by centrifugal forces from near-axis space to periphery of evaporation chamber. In the process they are heated and evaporated. Transverse partition is uniformly heated by coolant to highest temperature at side wall of evaporation chamber while near- axis space is heated to lowest temperature. Increasing variable temperature pattern of transverse partition augments energy separation in heated coolant environment within evaporation region. Some portion of fuel droplets fall on heated surfaces of transverse partition and spread over them under the action of centrifugal forces in the form of films; in the process, they are heated and intensively evaporated. Evaporation chamber heat insulation reduces heat transfer from chamber to atmosphere. Coolant is heated both by electric heater and by heat exchanger.
