The propulsion body (1) comprises a casing (3), containing a propulsion piston (6), connected to a launch ramp (2) which has a lower surface constituting a placing plane on the plane games surface (16). The launch ramp is provided with a location (14) for positioning the ball (13) and constitutes a guide for directing the path of the ball after propulsion. The ramp is pivoting mounted on the propulsion body around an axis (55) so that it can be in an inactive position preventing propulsion. It is placed in the active position when the ramp lower surfaces and the propulsion body are in the same plane.
