PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of setting the sound volume of a performance sound to be outputted from a sound output part, to a desired sound volume.SOLUTION: A game machine of the present invention comprises: sound volume value setting means for setting a sound volume value of a performance sound to be outputted from a sound output part, on the basis of an operation of a predetermined operation part, to a predetermined sound volume value; initialization means for initializing the game machine into a predetermined initial state; and a notification sound outputting means for outputting a notification sound notifying that the game machine is put into the predetermined initial state by the initialization means, from a sound output part.
