The apparatus includes an output unit (6) for outputting data corresponding to radiation exposure. The data are stored onto a person-specific storage medium (4). The data may comprise the number of radiation exposures, radiation doses, radiation type, body part, recording format, data of radiation, apparatus specific data, diagnosis, therapy plan, data of hospital, surgery and doctor. The person-specific storage medium is provided as a chip, magnetic, optical or chemical storage medium. Preferably, the data are automatically put onto the storage medium. The radiation diagnosis apparatus is preferably provided as a X-ray diagnosis apparatus (5).
