METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING TANK ROOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform air raising in a stabilized state where a roof to which a local heavy weight matter is attached. SOLUTION: A staging frame 16 extending in inside and outside directions is set on the upward part of the side wall 3 of a tank body 1. Sheaves 17, 18 are attached to the inside and outside ends of the staging frame 16. The intermediate part of a wire rope 19 connecting one end in the neighborhood of the local heavy weight matter 14 on a roof 4 is hooked on the sheaves 17, 18, and a counter weight 20 is hung down at the other end of the wire rope 19. The roof 4 is air-raised while weight balance with the local heavy weight matter 14 is kept by the counter weight 20.
