PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-shaped body formed of a sheet-laminate metal plate having excellent design properties. SOLUTION: The box-shaped body has first and second metal plates 4, 5 forming a cylindrical body 3 by mutually connecting left-right both side sections and cover plates covering both-end opening sections of the cylindrical body 3. At least one of the first and second metal plates 4, 5 is formed of a sheet- laminate metal plate, in which a sheet-shaped material is laminated on the metal plate through a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, U-shaped pinching sections capable of pinching the other metal plate are formed to the side sections of the first and second metal plates 4, 5, and the first and second metal plates 4, 5 are connected elastically by the pinching sections at that time.
