PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily do work in a short time for preventing the breakage of the connection of an existing pipe or preventing the leakage of water, resulting from breakage, without drilling and opening a ground. SOLUTION: For a drain tank 2 in which a drain space 2c is formed to be partitioned from a ground 1 with a side wall 2b and a drain pipe 3 placed in the ground 1 to be connected to the drain tank 2 at the side wall 2b, the ground 1 around a pipe connection 5 on the side of the drain space 2c is drilled in the direction of placing an existing pipe during reinforcing the pipe connection 5 of the drain pipe 3 to the drain tank 2. A sheathing pipe 7 is inserted and installed in the ground 1 via a space formed by drilling in the form of inserting the pipe connection in the sheathing pipe 7 and a buffer material 20 is installed between the sheathing pipe 7 and the pipe connection 5.
