PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling a storage battery low in power loss of power generated using renewable energy.CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a storage battery of an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: calculating surplus power for each predetermined time zone by using demand power prediction data and generation power prediction data of a power generator that generates power using renewable energy; inputting prediction errors of a plurality of prediction data in the past and calculating a statistical value of a prediction error of prediction data by using prediction errors of the plurality of prediction data; preparing operation plan data of a storage battery such that surplus power in a time zone is charged to the storage battery with a priority, the time zone having a more difference obtained by subtracting a statistical value of the prediction error from the surplus power; and controlling the charge/discharge of the storage battery so as to conform the operation plan data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
