PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make rainwater flow well by providing a bend joint body and a fixing member fixing an expanding and absorbing member inserted in the inside of the bend joint body and arranging the fixing member in the bent part at the central part and arranging the expanding and absorbing member in the vicinity of the axial center. SOLUTION: This bend joint is provided with a bend joint body 2 having a square section, provided with a receptacle type connector 21 and a plug type connector 22 at both ends, and a fixing member 3 fixing an expanding and absorbing member inserted in the bent joint body 2. Then, the fixing member 3 is arranged in the bend part 23 at the nearly central part in the axial center of the bent joint body 2, and formed of a frame body 31, two holding bars 32 having the same length, a ring-shaped holder frame 33, and fixing claw 34. The expanding and absorbing member is inserted in the ring-shaped holder frame 33 of the fixing member 3 and the lower end of the bent joint 1 and the upper end of a downpipe are connected to fit a clamping ring at the lower end of the expanding and absorbing member. Accordingly, refuse or dead leaves are prevented from stagnating or freezing and rainwater is prevented from getting hard to flow in the water passage.
