The change-over lever (23) has two sections (27, 29). It turns a valve plug (11) about an axis (9). It is pivoted on a second axis (25), perpendicular to the first. To turn the plug, effecting filter change-over, the handle section (29) must be pulled away, simultaneously operating the equalization valve (15) and releasing a locking mechanism comprising a stop (31) and locking recess (33). Preferred Features: The stop seats into a recess in either of the two extreme positions adopted by the handle, when it is turned about the plug axis (9). The stop (31) is spring-loaded (14) into either recess. The equalization valve plunger (17) is operated each time the handle is pulled away, to unlock it. The equalization valve is integrated into the valve plug and is formed by a spring-loaded ball (15).
